PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
The Dive RAID - Open Water Instructor is designed to train qualified RAID Divemaster or equivalent in the use of the RAID programme and how to teach the RAID Open Circuit programmes from Level 1 through to Level 4 diving with no decompression, up to 1.4 PpO2 and to a maximum depth of 40 metres

After successfully completing the RAID  Instructor Development Program (IDP), this provides you with a world wide recognised Dive Instructor certification to be able to teach Open Circuit courses in a safe and concise way from Open Water Diver - Level 1 to Level 3 plus relevant Dive RAID speciality courses.

PREREQUISITES for the Second Section of Dive RAID Open Water Instructor
- To be a minimum of 18 years old.
- To be a certified diver for at least 12 months prior to in water training.
- Completed and passed the DiveMaster academic online section Quick Quiz and Exam.
- Have a minimum of 60 logged hours using open circuit.
- Submit certification for RAID Open Circuit Level 1 OWD programme and/or equivalent
- Submit certification for RAID Open Circuit Level 2 ADV 35programme and/or equivalent
- Submit certification for RAID Open Circuit Level 3  Active Rescue programme and/or equivalent
- Submit certification for RAID Open Circuit Level 4  Divemaster programme and/or equivalent
- Submit Nitrox, Navigation, Night / Restricted Visibility and Deep and/or equivalent.
- Submit a current Rescue Breathing / CPR Training and Oxygen Provider certificate (Respond right equivalent).
- Documented proof of prerequisite requirements needs to be presented to Scuba Diving Malaysia for approval prior to any in water training.
Scuba Diving Malaysia must point out that the practical training cost (Second Section) is not included in the online fee. This cost must be discussed between yourself and Scuba Diving Malaysia

RAID Open Water Instructor Certification:
Once completed the RAID Instructor Development Programme (IDP) the successful candidate will need to attend, within 6 months, the RAID Instructor Examination (IE) conducted by a RAID Examiner.
Certification is only upon passing the Instructor Examination (IE)
